Maximizing Brand Impact During Virtual Events

If you've ever attended a tradeshow or conference, you understand the role that event sponsors play. Their branding is everywhere you look – signage, booths, merch. They help fund and promote the event, so it's important to keep them happy. But how do you keep your sponsors' logos visible when your event is being held online?  Check out these tips and product ideas from our awesome supplier partner, PCNA!

1. Include sponsor logos on all branded gifts and merch.

Giveaways, attendee swag bags, presenter gifts – all great opportunities to get your sponsors front and center. Not only does this increase visibility among attendees, it'll continue to generate impressions as they use their cool new swag in public.

Here are a few of our top picks for conference swag:

2. Encourage guests to share on social media using your official hashtag.

There's no underestimating the impact of social media on virtual conferences. We all use the internet to spread the word about events, and people who are excited to attend will do the same. Encourage them to post photos of their new swag on social media using the official event hashtag – and make sure they tag the sponsors. The extra traffic generates more visibility for everyone! (Pro tip: You can get more people to participate by offering a prize to one lucky person who shares on social.)

3. Make sure sponsor brands are visible on your presenters' apparel.

Your presenters' job is to command everyone's attention. So it makes sense to put sponsor logos on their apparel – especially somewhere visible, like the shoulder or collar. Branded apparel also ensures everyone's got a cohesive, professional look while reinforcing the event's identity for everyone participating from home. And one last point: anywhere the event logo is shown, it's a good idea to include the sponsor logos as well.

Styles like the Dege Eco Knit Half Zip and Tamarack Full Zip Jacket are great options for presenters.

4. Keep sponsors' branding visible in presentations.

Create a template for presenters to follow and include sponsor branding. By having speakers follow the same template, you can achieve the consistency and frequency needed to make a memorable impression. It's also helpful to explore a few different platforms before deciding which one should host your event. We recommend a platform that allows custom branding. It'll be worth your while to get those extra impressions.

There's more where that came from!  Contact Red Canoe Promotions Denver for more great ideas to make the most out of your virtual conference or trade show.

How to Choose the Right Branded Hand Sanitizer

With a nationwide focus on stopping the spread of germs, there's never been a better time than now to promote your brand using custom logo hand sanitizers.  With so many types to choose from, where should you start?  Here are a few pointers to help you choose!  Once you've read all about the different hand sanitizer choices available, you'll be ready to browse our logo sanitizer store for the perfect sanitizer to complement your logo and build your brand.

Alcohol vs. Non-Alcohol Branded Sanitizers

When it comes to the active ingredients, there are essentially two main types of branded hand sanitizers.  Alcohol based hand sanitizer is what's used in the healthcare field.  It's more effective at killing germs, especially viruses.  Hand sanitizers containing at least 60% alcohol are recommended for best results when it comes to killing germs.  Non-alcohol based sanitizer can be effective against some types of bacteria, but it typically isn't effective against most viruses.  Some sanitizers contain benzalkonium chloride as a substitute for alcohol, which is not as effective at killing germs.  Bottom line: Purchase custom logo sanitizer that contains at least 60% alcohol.

Scented vs. Unscented Branded Sanitizers

Custom logo sanitizer comes in both scented and unscented formulas.  If you'll be handing out your custom logo sanitizer as a giveaway at a trade show or other event, unscented sanitizer might be the best choice.  Some people are sensitive to certain smells, so while scented hand sanitizers might be pleasant for some people, it may leave others unable to use it.
Bottom Line: When in doubt, the safe bet is to buy branded sanitizer that's unscented.

Pumps vs. Squeeze Bottles vs. Spray Sanitizers?

When it comes to packaging, there are a few types of branded sanitizers.  The most popular style is a squeeze bottle of sanitizer with a custom logo label.  It's versatile and works in most any setting.  Sanitizer pump bottles can also be branded with your custom logo.  They're perfect for home and office settings as they typically contain a larger volume of sanitizer and can be stored on a desk or countertop.  Lastly, custom logo sanitizer can also come in the form of a spray bottle or spray pen.  These are great for when you're on-the-go, as they're small and compact and can fit easliy in your pocket, purse or vehicle.
Bottom Line: Unless the sanitizer will be placed in a permanent location like a desk or counter top, branded sanitizer spray pens and squeeze bottles are both great choices.  They're small enough to travel with and can be stored with ease.  Some of our custom logo sanitizer squeeze bottles can be purchased with a carabiner clip or travel sleeve for even easier transport and storage.  Which brings us to the next point...

Plain Custom Logo Sanitizer Bottle vs. Travel Sleeve

Branded hand sanitizer bottles can come with or without a travel sleeve.  Travel sleeves come in a variety of materials such as silicone or neoprene, and they also come in a variety of colors to complement your logo and to add an element of color to your promotion.  In addition to the increased brand appeal, travel sleeves are perfect for on-the-go hand sanitizing.  They can clip onto just about anything, like your keys or the rear view mirror in your car.
Bottom Line: If your budget allows, buying custom logo sanitizer that comes with a silicone or neoprene travel case with clip is the way to go!  Even when the sanitizer is gone, the travel sleeve can be reused over and over.

Five Creative Uses for Lanyards

Year after year, custom branded lanyards remain one of the most popular and essential promotional products on the market.  Here are five creative uses for this budget friendly branding tool:

1. Coaches
Lanyards can help distinguish coaches from parents during sporting events.  Lanyards with pockets also give coaches a place to stash play guidelines or strategies and stay hands-free.

2. Camping
Putting your compass or pocket knife on a lanyard is handy.  Lanyards will keep all those little tools together at arm’s reach.  Hang it around your neck or on the frame of the tent.

3. Ranking
Different colored lanyards are a great way for businesses, teams or associations to show rankings.

4. Traveling
A fashionable lanyard keeps important things like passports and transportation tickets handy.

5. Restaurants
Use lanyards to keep employee ID cards readily available.

Custom lanyards are for more than just trade shows and conventions!  Thanks to our favorite lanyard supplier partner, Snugz USA, for providing these creative uses for imprinted lanyards.  Contact Red Canoe Promotions today to get started on creating lanyards with your custom logo!
