Ideas for Referral Incentives

How Can You Get More Referrals?
Ideas for Referral Incentives

It's just as true for your business as it is for mine - referrals from a satisfied customer are a vital portion of business growth. But, do you have a program or system in place to ensure a customer is so satisfied that they can't help but tell someone about it and then give them the means or incentive to do so? Call us to get started on any of these referral incentive ideas, or we can create a referral incentive program from scratch that will motivate your customers to bring you customers!
  1. The After-Sale Mailer - This also works as a good "leave-behind". Create a Welcome Kit for new customers with your contact information (magnets are great for this!), any documentation/information you need to get to your new customer, and a referral card offering a gift when the referral becomes a customer. Depending on your "purchase" price, gifts could range from roadside safety tools, a Swiss Army tool or a Brookstone gift like a wireless speaker or wine aerator. For some extra "oomph", make sure to promote the referral program on your Facebook page and your website! (great for Insurance and Financial Services)
  2. Building on Loyalty Programs - Reward your loyal customers with a "just for you" coupon, along with an extra discount/coupon to share with a friend, all on a handy magnet that can be given out or mailed a few weeks before the discount/sale starts.
  3. End Of Year Gift - If you're already considering end of year gifts for your customers, use this as a time to ask for a referral as part of the wording on the card accompanying your gift or as a follow-up call or email after the gift would have arrived (Example: I really hope you enjoy the gift. If you would like to return the sentiment, the greatest gift you can give me is a referral to a colleague).

Edible Promotional Products: A Sweet Solution

A Sweet Solution

With summer almost over and the end of the year rapidly approaching, it's time to think customer and employee gifts! End-of-year thank you's, holiday gifts, employee appreciation and incentives, and promotional items to market holiday events are all extremely important to help you build good will with your customers and employees, as well as build sales. Create a promotion that has a long-term impact, classy look, and powerful emotional response with food gifts! From mint and candy tins to cylinders to heat-sealed bags to individually boxed and ribboned towers, food gifts are available in a wide variety to fit every budget (and more importantly, every taste), but they all have a few things in common:
- It's extremely easy for you - let me know your budget and outcome and I can build you a program your customers or employees will love! We can even ship to individual recipients with an included printed and personalized card or gift.
- Build your brand - your logo is the first thing customers will see with many imprint options and areas, including the food gift itself for some items!
- Big reactions - People love to share sweets with their coworkers - this is a great way to spread your name in a very positive way to lots of people within a company!

More Than a Giveaway: Ideas for Interactive Promotional Products

More Than a Giveaway
Ideas for Interactive Promotional Products
Drive traffic. Control responses. Create opportunities. These are the desired outcomes of great promotions and marketing campaigns. With a little planning and some creativity, we can turn an inexpensive giveaway into an interactive marketing campaign that is sure to drive your customers to action! Here are a few examples of how an inexpensive promotional product was turned into a marketing masterpiece:

1.       Guess The Flavor/Scent – promotional hand sanitizer sprays, lip balms, mints, and even pens are available with a variety of scents/flavors. Turn this giveaway into a guessing game by asking customers to guess the flavor/scent for an incentive (coupon, discount, etc). A credit union did this at a baseball game and had a huge response – customers were sending in guesses for weeks following the game, generating a lot of extra traffic!

2.       Put Them Together – This is a great way to drive traffic to a physical location after an event or drive traffic to a table or booth at a tradeshow/run/sporting event. Customers receive the accessory to a product (such as a sanitizer sleeve or lip balm sleeve), but have to come to you to get the product that goes inside, along with a coupon or other special offer. What else works? Distributing the cap only to a bike bottle (several are available for around $1) for runs and races, encouraging participants to come in for the rest of their water bottle and an in-store discount.

3.       Crossing Channels – Promotional products can enhance and improve your digital marketing and help you drive traffic to an Advergame, mobile landing page, or to your Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, or Pinterest pages. You can even use promotional products to boost app downloads/purchases.
